Conduits are designed, in the region of intersection with other conduits, with a rectangular cross-section of the same inner width and are offset with respect to the conduit axis by means of transition pieces. The parts which are arranged one above the other and have a rectangular cross-section prevent, or reduce, an increase in the overall height. In addition, insulating layers may be arranged therebetween in order to maintain a temperature gradient. <IMAGE>
