Between a threshing and separating device (26) of a combine harvester and a cleaning device (50) of a combine harvester there is provided a feed floor (32), to which a cleaning blower can be assigned in the region of the receiving part (62) of the said feed floor. The feed floor (32) consists of an upper segment (38) and of a lower segment (40) arranged at the distance from the latter and received in a frame. In this way, a division of the crop dispensed from the threshing and separating device and from the hurdle shaker into two material streams and consequently a more effective pre-layering of the crop can be carried out. <IMAGE>
