PURPOSE:To check for the generation of lameller separation accurately, by statistically processing the temperatures detected at respective measuring points. CONSTITUTION:K pieces of temperature sensors 11-1k are provided on a liquified natural gas LNG tank 8 and connected in series thereto. When current is fed from a constant current source 2, resistance values of the sensors vary with the temperature at the corresponding point to the LNG, causing a change in the terminal voltages thereof. The terminal voltages thereof are taken into a data processor 7 to be memorized 6 through a multiplexer 3 and an A/D converter 4. It is assumed that a lameller separation of the LNG is caused using measured values of the sensors housed in an equipment 6. The temperature measured values are divided into two groups, upper and lower layers and the goodness-fit when the group-wise distribution of the temperature measured values are found to follow the normal distribution and the goodness-fit when the distribution of the temperature measured values over all measuring points are compared using the reference value of AIC information reference level as evaluation function of the adaptability. Based on the results of the comparison, the presence of the LNG lameller separation is detected. |
