PURPOSE:To manufacture a bulb type fluorescent lamp with a preset shape without deforming its collar section by performing double-shot molding and double-insert molding in the flare processing in which the angle of the collar section is rectangular. CONSTITUTION:A luminous tube 1 is provided in an outer tube bulb 4 and the inner part of the bulb is evacuated. Then, when the collar section 8 of a flare 6 in a bulb type fluorescent lamp manufactured by sealing rate gas 2 and mercury 3 is molded, a glass tube 9 is rotated and a molding section is heated by a burner 10, then the collar section 8 is made rectangular by pressing the collar section with a press pin 14. In this case, this bulb type fluorescent lamp can be formed in a preset shape by locating a fixed pin 13 at the reverse side of the collar section 8 as well as pressing the collar section from one side and preventing the waving of the collar section 8, accordingly the deformation and the like on the tip of the collar section 8. Furthermore, to prevent the temperature fall of the collar section 8, axiliary heating is performed in a flaring section by a burner 12 and in a forming section by a burner 15, respectively. |
