PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material which has no effect upon a storage of an image and effectively prevent a generation of a precipitation by treating the titled material with a stabilizing solution instead of water in the presence of a specific compd. a sulfonamide or its derivative. CONSTITUTION:The titled treatment lies in treating the titled material with the stabilizing solution instead of water in the presence of the specific compd. shown by formula (I), (II), (II)' or (II)'', and sulfonamide or its derivatives. In the formula, R, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl, an alkyl, an alkoxy or a sulfo group or -NHCH2SO3H group, M is a cation. By applying the titled treatment to the silver halide color photographic sensitive material, the water washing can be substantially omitted without giving any effect upon the storage of the image and with improving the storage of the image and effectively preventing the generation of the precipitation. Among the compd. mentioned above, the compd. shown by formula II is preferably to use. |
