The laminate in the form of a rod is used as a drawing-in laminate in devices for drawing coils into stators of electric motors. The core (10) consists of plastic, while the lips (12) are formed by means of steel strip (14, 16) which is connected to the plastic. The two lips (12) can in each case be formed by individual steel strips (14, 16) or even by a single, suitably formed steel strip. <IMAGE>
