Method and device for operating a power station by means of a combined gas turbine/steam turbine process, in which the combustion air and/or the combustion gas fed to the gas turbine is recooled after a first compressor stage by means of condensate from the steam turbine, initially preheated after a second compressor stage by means of bled (extraction) steam from the steam turbine, and thereafter heated to a high temperature by the flue gas from the steam generator using sodium as bleed carrier.
