LIQUID HELIUM LEVEL METER

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of material while enabling the use of various equipments such as quartz nozzles, by using a superconductive alloy which has the specific composition and the superconduction transition temperature as electric resistance wire for a liquid level meter. CONSTITUTION:The compositions of a super conducting alloy used in a ribbon 8 of a liquid level meter 1 which holds liquid helium in a container at Zr100-x (Ru1-yRhy)x to meet 0<=y<=1 and 17<=x<=22.5 while the superconduction transition temperature at 4.5K-5.2K which is close to 4.2K of the liquid helium's tempera ture. This reduces the cost of material by lessening the content of expensive precious metal Rh and Ru while enabling adequate use of various equipment such as quartz nozzles by making the alloy meltable below 1,300 deg.C.
