Eccentric claw, depending on the configuration of the claw halves a1 and a2, suitable for support sections of channel or web sections, in both cases with the same mode of operation. The aforesaid eccentric claw serves to extract support props which have sunk into the floor at the roadway/face transition or during development work. Due to easy and quick attachment of the eccentric claw as well as the immediate clamping action via the eccentric lever b, a sunk-in support prop can be drawn quickly and without problem out of the floor by means of hydraulic prop or air or electric winch. With the same effectiveness, sunk-in support props can also be drawn out of the floor from the roof by rope lift or Sylvester with this eccentric claw described in greater detail, and the hooks of the extracting tool can be hooked into the edge of the receiving box c.
