A description is given of an apparatus for suspending a facade panel (11) on a ventilated structural element (12), having a lower retaining part, fastened on the facade panel (11), and an upper retaining part, fastened on the structural element (12), the two retaining parts being suspended on each other via a common swing tensile bar (13) which is provided at its ends with a lower stirrup (14) and an upper stirrup (15). In the case of said apparatus, it is proposed that the upper retaining part contains a hook which is formed from a solid element in the form of a perpendicular circular cylinder and is intended for suspending the upper stirrup (15), said solid element being cut along a plane arranged at an angle to its cylinder axis and the two resulting part-elements (16, 17) being displaced along their cut surfaces and fastened on each other. This arrangement permits the upper retaining part, as a cost-effective component, to be fastened in a simple manner on the structural element, even after the latter has been finished. <IMAGE>
