<p>PURPOSE:To improve an output, by dividing an exhaust passage into two groups and connecting the exhaust passage in each group with a low speed use volute passage through an individual collective part, in the case of an engine which divides a volute passage in the exhaust introducing part of a turbosupercharger into low and high speed use. CONSTITUTION:A volute passage 11 being an exhaust introducing part is formed in the periphery of a turbine 5 in a turbine housing 8 of a turbosupercharger 4, but this volute passage 11 is divided into each volute passage 19, 20 for low and high speed use by partitioning walls 17, 18 provided over the whole range including an inlet portion 12 of the volute passage 11. The high speed use volute passage 20 interposes an opening and closing valve 21 closed in a low speed range. While an exhaust passage 2, being divided into two exhaust passage groups 2b, 2c and 2a, 2d collecting the exhaust passage of cylinders with their exhaust stroke not overlapping with each other, connects the former group with the both volute passages 19, 20 through a collective part 2e while the latter group only with the low speed use volute passage 19 through a collective part 2f.</p> |
