PROCESS FOR TREATING WASTE WATER

PURPOSE:To treat waste water with less energy consumption and less treating cost by using a first and second slurry tank provided with a filtration device in each tank and filtering concentrated waste water obtd. in the first slurry tank in the second slurry tank. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is stored in a first slurry tank 10 fed from a neutralizing tank 11 through a pipe line 11'. The filtrate produced by the drum filter 13 in the tank 10 is discharged from the first slurry tank 10 to be outside through a pipe line 14, and the waste water stirred in the tank 10 is concentrated to 0.5-1.5% slurry content. The concentrated waste water is sent to the second slurry tank 17 through a pipe line 16. The filtrate produced by the filter 18 provided to the tank 17 is discharged from the tank 17 through a pipe line 19 and the sludge 20 separated by the filter 18 is discharged simultaneously by a belt conveyor 21.
