PURPOSE:To shut off splushing sound, by attaching a sheet-like pad made of water-absorption type resin materials, on the surface of a vehicle body panel which is splushed. CONSTITUTION:Sheet-like pads 6 made of water-absorption type resin materials are laid on the entire panel surface of a wheel house 1 on the outside of a vehicle, and the panel surface of a floor panel 4 in the area which is in the vicinity of a tire 5 so that it is liable to be splashed. This pad is carried by a mesh cover 7. During running under a rain weather condition, when the pad 6 absorbs water, it swells up by several times, and therefore, effects a damping effect to attenuate the sound of splash impingement. |
