PURPOSE:To simplify machining of mirror board and to improve the surface accuracy by splitting the mirror board of swivel scroll and the boss section to be fitted to the crank shaft then jointing said boss section to said mirror board. CONSTITUTION:A swivel scroll 2 is comprised of a mirror board 5 integrally provided with a spiral lap 6 such as an involute and a tubular boss section 15 to be fitted to the eccentric section 9 of the crank shaft 8 where said mirror board 5 and the boss section 15 are formed independently then jointed through welding. Since the mirror board 5 of swivel scroll 2 and the boss section 15 to be fitted with the crank shaft 8 are formed independently, machining of end plate 5 is simplified while high surface accuracy is achieved. Furthermore, when machining the lamp 6 on the mirror board 5, the end plate 5 will serve as the referential face for determining the height thus to facilitate the machining.
