<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen adsorbing and desorbing agent which absorbs efficiently oxygen in mild conditions such as room temp. and ordinary pressure by using a complex composed of a central metal being in a low valency state and a ligand consisting of a Schiff base compd. CONSTITUTION:As the oxygen adsorbing and desorbing agent, a Schiff base metallic complex shown in a formula 1 is used where in Y1, Y2 are the residual group of >=2 valency such as acid amide bond, ester bond and ether bond, R1 and R2 are 10-25C straight chain alkyl group, alkenyl group and alkinyl group, etc., M is Fe and Co, etc. This oxygen adsorbing and desorbing agent is obtained by preparing a Schiff base wherein for example, a salicylaldehyde derivative is allowed to react with ethylenediamine and introducing the low valency metal therein. The oxygen adsorbing and desorbing agent obtained by such a way is faultless and absorbs efficiently oxygen at room temp. and ordinary pressure.</p> |
