PURPOSE:To enlarge the space between each filter element and to permit automatic backwashing by providing a high pressure nozzle as homogenizer as well as for washing of a filter, a filter holder having a particular structure, and a bellows for backwashing. CONSTITUTION:A filter 40' is formed by building up many filter elements comprising thin sheets provided with liquid passages by etching, etc. Each filter element is held by a parallel link mechanism, and each element is inclined by driving the filter holders 33, 34, 35 (link) with a link driving device provided with a rotary actuator. Thus, the space between each element is changed evenly. Further, a high pressure nozzle 52 as homogenizer as well as for washing of the filter 40' is provided. A backwashing bellows 58 is also provided to improve the backwashing effect. The filter 40' is rotated always by a motor 53, driving gear 54, and a holder 33 to eject the fluid from the high pressure nozzle 52 to the external periphery of the filter uniformly. Thus, the washing effect is improved.
