<p>PURPOSE:To operate the title methane fermenter under complete automation by analyzing an org. acid in the gaseous phase continuously, at high speed, and with high precision when the methane fermenter is operated on the basis of the org. acid concn. in the liq. phase. CONSTITUTION:A gaseous phase is formed at the upper part in a vessel and liq. phase at the lower part, and the reaction participated with an org. acid and microbes is allowed to proceed in methane fermenters 1 and 2. An infrared- absorbing analyzer is provided in the fermenters 1 and 2 as the means 51 to analyze the org. acid in the gaseous phase which is in quasi-equilibrium with the org. acid in the liq. phase. The org. acid in the liq. phase is specified by the analytical value obtained from the means 51, and the fermenter can be operated under automatic control on the basis of the result. Namely, the org. acid in the gaseous phase can be analized at high speed, continuously, and with high precision, and the operation can be completely automatically controlled on the basis of the result.</p> |
