<p>PURPOSE:To prevent loss of a rotor blade when it is broken by connecting a support arm to the rotor blade with a rope, in a wind mill in which the metal support arm is mounted on a rotor hub and the resin rotor blades are fixed to the arm. CONSTITUTION:A nacelle 3 rotatable around a strut 1 is mounted on the upper end of the strut 1 provided vertically, and a pair of fiber reinforced resin rotor blades 6 are mounted through a rotor hub 5 on one end of a rotary shaft 4 supported by a bearing in a support arm 3a extending in the lateral direction of the nacelle 3. In this case, the blade 6 are attached to the rotor hub 5 via a rotatable metallic support arm 7. That is, the beam 6b of a blade 6 is fixed to the arm blade 7b of a support arm 7, and base end of the blade body 6a is secured to a flange part 7a of the support arm 7. Both 6 and 7 are connected together by inserting a rope 10 through a ring-shaped metal fitting 8 mounted to the blade 7b and holes 9, 9 of the beam 6b.</p> |
