PURPOSE:To form an excellent image having no fog even in copying operation with an additional information function by erasing the charge of a photosensitive drum except at an additional information display part by an electrostatic discharging lamp. CONSTITUTION:Size data on the additional information display part 11 which displays a data, etc., is stored previously in the nonvolatile memory of a computer, the electrostatic discharging lamp 23 uses an LED array which is divided into may parts, and a lamp driving circuit 22 is connected thereto. Additional information is copied in the beginning of copying operation, but said size data is read out by a control circuit 21 to turn on all lamps 23 for Y1 and Y2-Y3 and performs electrostatic discharging, and lamps are turned on for Y1-Y2 to discharge other parts except the width W of the additional information. Consequently, an excellent picture having no fog is formed even in copying operation with additional information. |
