<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having improved impact resistance and elongation, by adding a modifier and a silane coupling agent to a polybutylene terephthalate resin. CONSTITUTION:A 0.5-10wt% polyacrylate resin contg. a unit derived from a 1-6C alkyl acrylate as a modifier, 0.5-2wt% silane coupling agent of the formula (wherein X is a hydrolyzable group attached to a Si atom; Y is glycidyl, amino; R is alkylene) and optionally, 1-50wt% reinforcing filler (e.g. glass fiber), a powder (e.g. CaCO3), 1-30wt% flame retarder (e.g. penta- to decabromo compd. of diphenyl ether) are blended with a polybutylene terephthalate.</p> |
