PURPOSE:To enhance the performance of a compact synchronous motor by reducing a gap between a yoke and a rotor element adjacent to the yoke smaller than that between the adjacent elements. CONSTITUTION:A gap between a yoke 22 and a rotor element 18a adjacent to the yoke is reduced smaller than a gap L between the adjacent elements 18 and 18a. When the gap l is reduced smaller than the gap l, stator elements disposed thereat can be reduced in thickness. In other words, even if the armature winding of the stator element is reduced to decrease the flowed current, a large torque can be obtained. |
