PURPOSE:To provide components of developer for pressure-sensitive paper with the high density and clearness of an image formed and the suppressed discoloring of an image and a background during light exposure by containing composite soconite-type zinc philosilicate and organic compound containing the phenol hydroxyl group. CONSTITUTION:Components of developer for pressure-sensitive paper having high light resistance are obtained by containing composite soconite-type zinc philosilicate and organic compounds containing the phenyl hydroxyl group. The weight mixture ratio of composite soconite-type zinc philosilicate and organic compounds containing the phenyl hydroxyl group is 50:50-98:2. Composite soconite-type zinc philosilicate is mainly composed of a chemical component expressed by the formula Zn3Si4O10(OH)2. Organic compounds containing the phenol hydroxyl group represent aromatic oxycarboxyl acid or its metallic salts or phenyl resin, specially novolak-type phenol resin. |
