PURPOSE:To increase leakage resistance of a battery by filling silicone rubber in an annular recess to seal a battery. CONSTITUTION:The opening edge 1b of a battery case is bent inward so that the bent edge 1b comes into an annular recess 3 formed on the upper surface of a sealing gasket. Silicone resin 4 is filled in the annular recess 3. Viscosity of the silicone resin is preferable to adjust to 10-40 poises.
