PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform accurate cutting by inputting the detected error between the positions of the end of a workpiece and a photocell into a control counter which converts it into signal and rotating a pulse motor on the signal. CONSTITUTION:When a photocell 15 detects the end of a formed article on the signal, an air cylinder 16 is activated to move a slider 12 in the direction of the entering of the formed article bringing a sizing plate 14 into contact with the end of the formed article. The moving distance of the sizing plate 14 measured by an encoder 18 through a measuring rod 17 is input to a control counter, which operates the length of the end of the article projected longer than regulated length and converts it into signal to oscillate. On this signal, a pulse motor is rotated to move a rotary cutter 6 through the feed of a ball screw to the moving direction of the formed article by projected length allowing the cutter to cut the formed article (m) to the regulated length with accuracy. |
