PURPOSE:To form surely a coating film inexpensively in a short time to thereby prevent stocks outdoors from being scattered, covered with dust and oxidized by air, by spraying a foamable coating paint on the surfaces of the stocks outdoors. CONSTITUTION:A foamable coating paint is sprayed on the surface of stock outdoors to form a water-insoluble closed-cell foamed coating film thereon. Examples of the stocks outdoors are powders and bulky materials. According to the above method, a satisfactry coating effect can be obtd., even when bulky materials having many voids are coated. Examples of the bulky materials are coal lump, coke lump, iron ores, limestone, bauxite and org. bulky materials such as wood. Examples of the paints are pref. two-pack paints in which two soln. are rapidly reacted with each other to expand and cure, thus forming a water-insoluble closed-cell foam.
