PURPOSE:To separate a shadow mask from a panel after changing over the kind of product automatically in multi-product mix production line by providing a movable panel positioning member and a mask spring compression claw. CONSTITUTION:A panel 2 is supplied on a panel receiver 11, after a shadow mask 1 is incorporated thereon. Movable members 17-20 are moved to opposite directions by screw members 15, 16 having right-hand and left-hand crews, and the panel 2 is positioned by a panel positioning member 21 provided on the movable member 17. And the screw members 15, 16 are rotated reversely to retreat the movable members so as to make a mask spring compression claw 28 to face a panel pin 6. Next, the claw 28 is raised to be inserted in a space between the panel 2 and a mask spring 5 and to be advanced into an inner side. Then, the spring 5 is deformed and released from the pin 6, and the shadow mask 1 is retained by the claw 28. And a lift 13 is raised to lift up the panel 2 and to retreat the claw 28, and the shadow mask 1 is placed on a belt conveyor 32. Thus, releasing action can be made regardless of the size of the panel 2.
