PURPOSE:A drug for lowering intracranial without causing kidney disorder, obtained by dissolving a fixed amount of glycerin and fructose in sodium chloride injection. CONSTITUTION:A drug comprising sodium chloride injection, glycerin, and fructose, wherein the amount of glycerin is 10-20%(W/V) based on a solution consisting of glycerin and sodium chloride injection, and an amount of fructose is 20-100wt% based on glycerin. This composition has improved lowering action on intracranial pressure without causing kidney disorder at all. Administration is carried out by selecting proper glycerin concentration depending upon symptoms, and a dose is usually 0.5-2g/kg/day by venoclysis. |
