PURPOSE:To enable additional information to be coped without causing developer fogging in a portion of a liquid crystal of the copy by irradiation from the back of a transmission type liquid crystal display by the light from an exposure lamp by an optical system. CONSTITUTION:The optical system 18 of the additional information copying device 3 provided laterally of an original platen glass 2 is enclosed by a cover 6 and composed of four reflective mirrors 19, 20, 21 and 22. At the initial stage of exposure, the exposure lamp 14 irradiates a lighting window 7 and the light taken there is sequentially reflected by the mirrors 19 to 22 of the optical system 18 so as to fall on the liquid crystal 5 from directly above so that the additional information is copied by a scanning optical system 8 onto a photosensitive drum 15. A manuscript 24 placed with positioning at an end reference position 23 on the tray glass 2 is scanned in the direction a by the exposure lamp 21 so that the original image is copied to the drum 15 by an image forming optical system 8. |
