CONSTITUTION:After the overall surface of a photosensitive member 1 is charged electrostatically, a first image exposure is effected by an image exposure device 4, and the first color image, such as yellow image is formed by development with a developer 5. The overall surface is again charged electrostatically by an electrifier 2, the second image exposure is performed and developed by a developer 6 to form a second color image such as Magenta image in superposition on the first color image. The similar operations are repeated a required number of times and one or both of a pre-transfer electrifier 9 and pre-transfer exposure lamp 10 is energized at the stage in which the third development of the last operation is carried out until passage of the image. With the intensity modulation level of n and the spectral transmission factor of R, the relation of the equation is satisfied. |
