PURPOSE:To enable to accurately transfer both fine dots for which a small quantity of energy is impressed and larger dots for which a large quantity of energy is impressed, by laminating a cellophane paper on a sheet form base having a surface smoothness measured by an OKEN-type surface smoothness tester of not lower than 200sec. CONSTITUTION:A cellophane-receiving layer 3 is adhered to one side of a base paper 1 having a predetermined smoothness, e.g., an art paper or a wood free paper, through an adhesive layer 2. When transfer-type thermal recording by a melt transfer system is conducted by adding white opaqueness and easy handleability to the ink receptivity and ink adhesion property of the cellophane paper, it is possible to faithfully reproduce dots, in a wide energy range of from low energy to high energy. |
