PURPOSE:To excellently perform the injection of chemicals, by setting the objective turbidity of biologically oxidized treated water and making the injection amount of chemicals constant in the sedimentation basin of a water purification plant. CONSTITUTION:In a biological oxidizing treatment tank control apparatus 19, objective turbidity of treated water is set by a treated water objective turbidity setting device 14 with due regard to the removal effect of the org. substance and nitrogen in inflow raw water for the purpose of the security of turbidity necessary for the formation of floc in the sedimentation basin of a water purification tank. The turbidity removal ratio of a biological oxidizing treatment tank 1 is set by the turbidity removal ratio setting device 12 of the biological oxidizing treatment tank 1. The turbidity of raw water flowed into the biological oxidizing treatment tank 1 is measured by an inflow raw water turbidity meter 7 and inputted to a turbidity removal ratio operation circuit 15 which, in turn, performs the temp. correction of a turbidity removal ratio. The number of the biological oxidizing treatment tanks are calculated and controlled by the tolerant inflow amount of the biological oxidizing treatment tank 1 and the turbidity removal ratio thereof.
