PURPOSE:To obtain the copy of a picture in best focus without fail by changing a lens moving amount by the position adjustment of a guide member and correcting out of focus caused by the error of a lens focal length. CONSTITUTION:The cam curve of a cam 8 tilts so that its left side can be up with respect to the direction of a wire 14, and guides members 10 and 11 is made rotatable in some range with a point 12 where a follower 9 is engaged at the time of equimultiple as a fulcrum. The inclination of the lens guide cams 10 and 11 and the shape of the cam 8 are appropriately set, whereby a difference between the moving amount of a lens positioning bracket 3 and of the lens drive wire 14 can be approximated to a calculated value. The local length of the lens used is measured, and an optical path is corrected so that a picture can be in focus at the time of equimultiple. Simultaneously the inclination of the guide members 10 and 11 and the shape of the cam 8 are set in accordance with the focus distance. Then a number of pulses corresponding to the magnification is inputted to a lens drive motor, whereby the optical path is corrected automatically and relatively.
