PURPOSE:To prevent reduction in the potential of an electrostatic latent image even at high humidity and to obtain a fine copy by development by heat treating a photoconductive particle-resin dispersion contg. and isocyanate compound and by applying the resulting mixture to an electrically conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:Photoconductive particles are dispersed in a resin soln., the isocyanate compound is further added and dispersed by a suitable method, and the resulting coating liq. is applied to the electrically conductive supporting body such as Al foil to obtain a photosensitive body. For example, the photoconductive particles of cadmium sulfide activated with copper are mixed with acrylic resin and hexamethylene diisocyanate in methyl isobutyl ketone, and they are dispersed by means of a homogenizer. The resulting dispersion is applied to an Al plate as the electrically conductive supporting body 1 by means of a doctor blade to form a photoconductive layer 2 having 50mum thickness after drying. After the layer 2 is well dried, a polyester film as a transparent insulator of 25mum thickness is laminated on the layer 2 to form an insulating layer 3. |
