PURPOSE:To enable reduction of a manufacturing cost and to improve strength of mounting to a case body, by a method wherein the cylinder body of a rotary type closed compressor is formed separately from a mounting member, and thereafter, the cylinder body and the mounting member are integrally joined with each other. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder body 5 in a nearly cylindrical shape to be easily moulded is formed. Separately from the cylinder body 5, a mounting member 6 is formed by means of press. The mounting member 6 is engaged with the outer periphery of the cylinder body 5 for securing, the mounting member 6 is pressed in an enclosed vessel 1 for mounting by means of spot welding and other like means.
