PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of the accelerator operating amount and the inhaled air amount characteristic by installing a characteristic correcting means which receives the output of an acceleration detecting means and corrects the accelerator operating amount and the throttle-valve opening-degree characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A calculating means 32 receives the output of an acceleration detecting means 31 and calculates the opening-degree of a throttle-valve 34, and a throttle-valve driving means 33 drives the throttle-valve 34. A characteristic correcting means 35 corrects the accelerator operation amount and the throttle-valve opening-degree characteristic so that the variation of the throttle- valve opening-degree for the variation of the accelerator operating amount in a prescribed range of the accelerator operating amount becomes small and the variation of the throttle-valve opening-degree for the variation of the accelerator operating amount in the range over and below a prescribed range becomes large. thus, the linearity of the accelerator operation amount and the inhaled air amount characteristic can be improved, and drivability can be improved.
