PURPOSE:To enhance manufacturing efficiency by automating the adhesive work of a blocking material pattern, by preliminarily processing the blocking material pattern on a water cooling cylinder before transferring the same onto a rubber roll substrate under pressure. CONSTITUTION:When blocking material patterns 19... were formed onto a water cooling cylinder 11, the water cooling cylinder 11 and a rubber roll substrate 2 are externally contacted to each other on the peripheral surfaces thereof and rotated to the direction shown by arrow. By this method, the blocking material patterns 19... are inserted between the water cooling cylinder 11 and the rubber roll substrate 12 to be contacted with said substrate 12 under pressure through an adhesive 22. Because the adhesive 22 has adhesive force larger than that of the adhesive 21 adhering the blocking material patterns 19... to the water cooling cylinder 11, the blocking material patterns 19... are transferred to the peripheral surface of the rubber roll substrate 2 when issued from the pressure contact region. By this method, the blocking material patterns 19... are automatically adhered onto the peripheral surface of the rubber roll substrate 2. |
