PURPOSE:To prevent the clogging or noise of a nozzle, by providing a laminated thin plate having not only minute recessed parts provided to the surface thereof not contacted with a thermal head but also ink channels for connecting said minute recessed parts and an ink tank. CONSTITUTION:When voltage is applied to a thermal head 14 to heat the same, the base plate 4 of a laminated thin plate 11 contacted with the thermal head 14 is heated and the ink of a supply plate 3 is evaporated to generate air bubbles 13 and the ink 12 is flown from the nozzle 5 of a nozzle plate 2 by the pressure of said air bubbles. With the consumption of the ink, ink is replenished from an ink tank through the ink supply channel 6 of the supply plate 16 and the ink supply port 18 of the base plate 4. By this method, nozzles are highly densified and, at the same time, the ink supply channels can be shortened and the clogging possibility of the nozzles can be reduced and, because no piezoelectric vibrator is used, noise generation caused by driving the piezoelectric vibrator can be eliminated. |
