PURPOSE:To stably prepare fluoroalkyl alpha-chloroacrylate with high yield and high purity by hydrolyzing 2-chloroacrylonitrile in the presence of oxygen with sulfuric acid to give 2-chloroacrylic acid and esterifying it with fluoroalkanol. CONSTITUTION:The fluoroalkyl alpha-chloroacrylate high in purity can be stably obtained economically in a short preparation process with high yield by hydrolyzing 2-chloroacrylonitrile in the presence of oxygen with sulfuric acid to give 2-chloroacrylic acid and esterifying it with fluoroalkanol having one or more F atoms at the 2 or higher positions of alcohol, preferably primary or secondary alcohol having 2-10C number. |
