PURPOSE:To form an image having high density and low fogging by incorporating a dye donative material which forms a diffusive dye by coupling reaction with the oxidant of a reducing agent and hydroquinone deriv. compd. which releases a development accelerator when oxidized into the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The heat developing color photosensitive material is constituted by having a photographic constituting layer contg. at least photosensitive silver halide, binder, reducing agent, the color donative material which forms the diffusive dye by coupling reaction wit the oxidant of the reducing agent and the hydroquinone deriv. compd. which releases the development accelerator when oxidized on a substrate. The hydroquinone expressed by the formula is used as the hydroquinone deriv. compd. which releases the development accelerator when oxidized. The compd. expressed by the formula is added at 0.005-200mol for each 1mol of the photosensitive silver halide. The photosensitive silver halide and photosensitive silver salt forming component are used at 0.001-50g for each 1m<2> per layer. The image having the high density and low fogging is thus obtd.
