摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus which can largely reduce the time of e-cooling a liquid helium container or a superconductive device, by a method wherein a connecting pipe 17 moving up and down by the operation of an outer peripheral supporter is provided at the tip of a liquid-feeding pipe projecting inward the liquid-storing bath. CONSTITUTION:In order to pre-cool a liquid helium container inner bath 13, low-temperature gas helium evolved in a helium liquifier 1 is fed to the container inner bath 13 through the liquid-feeding pipe 3 of a helium carrier pipe 22. During this pre-cooling, the connecting pipe 17 is moved downward by loosing two caulking members 15; then, the carrier pipe 22 and an outer peripheral support pipe 18 are fixed by tightening said members 15. Such an operation enables low-temperature gas helium to be released through the connecting pipe 17 to the bottom of the inner bath 13 and to be returned after pre-cooling the whole inner bath 13, through a vent hole provide at a proper position of the pipe from a return pipe 4 18 to the helium liquifier 1. During liquid storing, the connecting pipe 17 is moved upward by the same operation, and the liquid should not be stirred even in a state of liquid accumulation; therefore, the liquid can be fed without boiling.
