<p>N-Cinnamyl N'-bis(4-fluorophenyl) methyl piperazine of formula (I) and its acceptable salts, are made by (a) a phase transference reaction of N-cinnamyl N,N-bis(2-chlorethyl)amine (II) with bis(4-fluorophenyl)methylamine (III) in presence of a alkali metal or alkaline earth hydroxide or carbonate and a quat. ammonium salt e.g. benzyl triethyl ammonium chloride, as catalyst, with a chloroform-ethanol mixt. as organic phase.</p> |
