PURPOSE:To always perform reliable, rapid, and safe ignition through instantaneous attraction, by a method wherein a device is constituted such that an electromagnetic valve is attracted for seconds by means of electricity charged in a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:During control of ignition, a switch 9 is closed in linkage with control for opening of a gas passage by means of an auxiliary pilot, a capacitor 3 is charged from a battery 2, and simultaneously, a current flows to an electromagnetic valve 4 and a temperature fuse 5 through a resistor 8 to bring the electromagnetic valve 4 into an attracting state. When a pilot burner is ignited by means of an auxiliary pilot, a switch 9 is opened in linkage with control for closing of a gas passage by means of the auxiliary pilot. In which case, discharge is started from the capacitor 3, and current continues to flow to the electromagnetic valve 4 by means of a pilot flame during a time in which an electromotive force from a pilot flame element 8 holds the electromagnetic valve 4 at an attracting state. This function enables instantaneous attraction of the electromagnetic valve 4. As noted above, even if a pilot flame burner fails in ignition through the first manipulation, the capacitor 3 is reliably charged even through second and following control, and this enables to perform relible instantaneous attraction operation. |
