This orthesis is of the type composed of a gauntlet A, a hammock D for suspension of the finger and elastic means C extending from the posterior part of the gauntlet to the hammock D by passing via the bracket, to the return means B attached to the gauntlet. According to the invention, it comprises, on the one hand, at least one support 2 fixed to the gauntlet A and carrying the return means B and, on the other hand, a calibrated spring 10 which, chosen from a set of calibrated springs providing different tractional forces for identical extensions, is hooked, by its posterior end, to a hooking means 12 of the gauntlet and, by its anterior end, to a relay cable 13 which is inextensible and connected to the hammock D. It passes through a longitudinal tunnel made in the corresponding support. <IMAGE>
