<p>The machine comprises a flat bed with tricks each housing a needle, with shank above a jack provided with a top butt and a second lower butt. A reciprocating carriage is provided with selector elements movable between operative and inoperative positions, and able to raise a jack from neutral position to different elevated positions. - Each jack has a tail butt, and a tailpiece between it and the next higher butt is resilient and oscillatable transversely of the needle trick, so that an operating cam can raise a jack to a max. elevated position in cooperation with raising cams.</p> |
