PURPOSE:To switch smoothly to a new channel without the interruption of a continued talking by connecting an existing channel with a mobile device to the new channel via the 3-party channel after the existing channel passes through the 3-party channel equipment provided to an automatic exchange. CONSTITUTION:A mobile device 4 within the communication range of a radio equipment 2-1 is in talking with a subscriber accommodated in an automatic exchange 1 via a radio line 6-1, a talking line 3-1 and a channel P-1 in a network NW11. When a mobile device 1 moves within the communication range of a radio equipment 2-2 from the communication range of the equipment 2-1, the equipment 2-1 detects the movement through the reduction in the reception level and requests changeover to the exchange 1. The exchange 1 selects the lines 6-2, 3-2 of the equipment of the adjacent communication range, sets channels P-2, P-3 in the NW11, releases the P-1 to detour the channel between the subscriber 5 and the mobile device through the 3-party channel equipment 12, further a channel P-4 is set to connect the line 3-2 to the device 12. Then the exchange 1 switches the line of the mobile device 4 to the device 2-2, to set a channel P-5 and to release the P-2-P-4. |
