<p>PURPOSE:To run a tape forward and backward through the movement of one motor by reducing the speed of a reel turntable by one stage and moving the driving-side motor selectively, and thus switching the reel turntable. CONSTITUTION:A detection roller 7 contacts the magnetic tape 1 and a frequency generator 9 converts the tape speed into an electric signal according to the rotatin speed of the detection roller 7; and the converted signal is inputted to a control circuit 10 to control the rotating speed of the motor. A magnetic head 8 contacts the tape 1 to receive a signal and the operation of forward rotation is performed. When the motor 6 is moved selectively and a rubber idler part 4a is pressed against the shaft 6a of the motor, the turning force of the motor 6 is transmitted to the reel turntable 4 and the tape speed is held constant by the same control circuit. The rotation of the motor, however, is reverse and the tape runs backward. Consequently, only one motor and one control circuit are required adn the cost is reduced.</p> |
