PURPOSE:To relieve the load with respect to the response of a user by providing a means replaying automatically the incoming call of a telephone set to an individual data processing unit in a private communication network in which the telephone set and the individual data processing unit are provided. CONSTITUTION:Automatic response means 2A, 2B are built in respectively to the individual data processing units 1A, 1B, audio response units 3A, 3B are connected respectively as terminal equipments. A request party A uses the device 3A to transmit a talking request to the device 1B of the opposite party B via the device 1A and the private communication network 4. The device 1B uses the means 2B to confirm the presence of the party B and when the party B is absent, the absence or the content of a message (if set) informing the schedule of the party B is transmitted to the device 1A. The device 1A informs the content to the request party A in acoustic or visual modes. Further, when it is required for the party A to transmit a message to the party B, the message is transmitted to the device 1B, which records the message. |
