The device comprises, on the one hand, an elongate mould 11 delimiting three faces of the post and arranged so that its upper part, which corresponds to the fourth face, is horizontal and open for casting the concrete and, on the other hand, a core 23 axially recessed over its entire length towards the foot of the post for its demoulding by coaxial translation in this direction, the core interacting, for its introduction and its extraction, with a set of rollers 47, 48 at least one of which 48 is carried by the bottom wall 24 of the mould 11 and is of the type which can be retracted through an opening in this wall which can be shut off by a hatch 55, the core also interacting, for its centring and for holding it in place, with fingers carried by the mould and extending in internal projection over the four faces of said mould. <IMAGE>
