Conjugate (I) of a target-seeking biologically active molecule (II) and metallothionein (III), or a fragment of (III), is new. The metal, or part of it, in the (III) or its fragment is a trace label metal having sufficient affinity for (III) or its fragment to bind to it. Conjugate (IV) of a target-seeking biologically active molecule (V) and (III), or its fragment, is new when all the metal in the (III), or its fragment, is non-radioactive and has an affinity for (III) less than the Tc, Ag, Au, Hg or cupric cations. |
