PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown and detachment of electric wires during handling by coating the cell cover with an insulating paint and then fixing the electric wires to the cell cover by means of an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a cell cover 2 including an output terminal 3, an ignition terminal 4 and electric wires 6 and 7 is coated with an insulating paint 8. After coating, the electric wires 6 and 7 are fixed to the surface of the cell cover 2 by means of a thermosetting adhesive 9 such as an epoxy resin. Therefore, there is no possibility that the electric wire 6 detaches from the output terminal 3 or the electric wire 7 detaches from the ignition terminal 4 during handling. Besides, there is no possibility that the electric wire 6 detaches from the output terminal 3 during discharge. Since the surface of the cell cover 2 and the electric wires 6 and 7 fixed to the cell cover 2 are coated with an insulating paint, no leak develops in this thermal cell. |
